Hand Barrel Double Oak Whiskey

We believe true character is what defines the best Kentucky bourbons. Character is something that is developed and formed over time. It’s the result of growth. It comes from an endless series of small, but critical choices. The more thought and care that is put into those choices, the richer and more authentic the character. The true character of Hand Barrel Bourbon is special. And it comes from a series of very specific choices we’ve made in the crafting process. The sweet mash bill is a mix of 64% Corn, 24% Rye and 12% barley. We burn our White Oak barrels to the level of Char #4 – the alligator char - so that the bourbon can almost touch the red layer where so much flavor resides. We use a non-chill filtered process that allows the authentic texture of the bourbon to show up in the mouthfeel. The bottle design itself helps protect.
